Alana is a process engineering design consultant specializing in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing water and wastewater treatment. Alana has been in the semiconductor industry for ten years, including experience as the technical lead for the process engineering team at Page/ in Austin, TX and as a Facilities UPW engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor.
She has previously been a member of the IRDS water and energy sustainability series and several SEMI teams. A combination of past operational experience combined with her most recent design role has fostered an enthusiasm for design for maintenance and operation principles. Additionally, her most recent focus has been on the importance of the front end engineering design studies (FEED) and how they can be better leveraged in semiconductor and advanced manufacturing infrastructure projects.

Our Mission
Facilities are the lifeblood of the semiconductor fab. Underpinning critical roles in yield enhancement, environmental sustainability, and industry growth, they are undergoing transformative change.
Yet despite this key role, there has never been a collaborative forum dedicated to the extremely complex and technically challenging nature of facilities – until now.
